With the help of a grant from South Gloucestershire Council, we were able to host a return
visit of our friends from Vilanova i la Geltru. Both sides visited the Upton on Severn Festival
on the Saturday, and the Catalans received a very good reception. The weather was poor, though,
not good for photography. But by the Monday Bank Holiday,
the sun was shining, so here is a taste of our performances at the village carnival.

The Squire - has a harder than
usual job - 2 sides to sort out and a rogue dragon menacing her guests.
Vilanova in action. They did try to teach us this move,
But,
we decided
we couldn't
do it because our skirts were too long.
So, we taught them one of ours -
Dilwyn - instead.
They admired
our display - and some people
(who shall be nameless)
admired them. So here is a memento of David for you.
